Classroom Behavior Chart and Behavior Charts
There are two classroom charts that help students with classroom feedback. One is for behavior and one is for learning.
Learning
The learning chart gives students feedback regarding HOW they are learning in class as Visible Learners. We will be talking to our students about STRONG, REFINING, DEVELOPING, and WEAK work/learning and their attainment toward standards. Students will become aware of their learning targets and success criteria to be successful in attaining standards. Ka`imiloa holds assemblies throughout the year to address Visible Learners who possess learning dispositions.
Behavior
Students will uphold Ka`imiloa's Behavior's Expectations of being SAFE, RESPECTFUL, and RESPONSIBLE in school. There are 4 tiers on the behavior chart and students will move up and down the chart when receiving feedback. Communication notes will be sent home when students land at the bottom of the chart. Once a contact is made with home, the student may move to the top of the chart with a fresh start.
