STEM--Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. There are different steps to follow in the STEM process:
ASK: Ask questions. What is the challenge? What are the parameters and limitations to accomplish the task?
IMAGINE: Imagine the final outcome when trying to accomplish the goal. Think about where you have seen this challenge and connect it to real world problems. Think about how you can create a design in order to meet the challenge.
PLAN: Draw and decide which idea would work best to complete the challenge.
CREATE: Build. Use your materials provided to build your prototype. Remember to think about your parameters and limitations
EXPERIMENT: Test your creation! Are there adjustments to be made?
IMPROVE: How did it work? Did you meet your objective? How could you improve upon your design so to meet the challenge? Record your results. Retest.
